The Testo 521 series multifunction meter with the built-in micromanometer is configured for differential pressure measurements in the HVAC range of 0 to 40" wg (0-100 hPa), e.g. pressure drops across filters or inspection of fans or extraction equipment. The meter has nine user selectable display pressure units: in H2O, mbar, hPa, bar, Pa, kPa, mmH2O, torr and psi. Flexibility is enhanced as additional probes can be connected to testo 521/526 pressure meters via 2 user defined probe sockets.
Pitot tube measurement: Flow velocities of 985 – 20,000 ft/min (5 - 100 m/s) are measured via the internal pressure sensor. The external 0.4 in H2O (100 Pa) probe allows precise measurements in the 200 – 2,400 ft/min (1 - 12 m/s). The advantages during flow measurement are direct calculation of the flow velocity and volume flow, averaging by points and time and automatic tightness compensation.

The Testo 526 series multifunction pressure meters have a range from 0 to 80" H2O (0 to 2000 hPa) and are designed for industrial applications, where critical processes require measurement and monitoring with accuracy up to 0.05 % of full scale value.
Pressure test: The integrated test menu on the Testo 526series manometers permits seamless recording, particularly for leak tests in containers. The data can be subsequently processed using software or printed out via the printer so that the pressure test is documented. The Testo Comsoft3 easy to use software contains data base, analysis, trend, and chart functions.
Advantages of the 521
- Two probe sockets for connecting additional probes for measuring pressure, temperature, current and voltage
- Dynamic pressure measurement at a measuring frequency of 0.04 seconds to once every 24 hours, user selectable
- Calculation of flow velocity and volume flow via pitot tube
- Transmitter signal with a 0/4...20 mA interface
- Available in 2 accuracy classes: 0.2 % and 0.1 % of full scale value
Additional Advantages of the 526
- Verification of pressure drop in tanks, pipes etc. via the integrated test menu
- Measurement of leakage rate (time-dependent pressure drop)
Available in 2 accuracy classes: 0.1 % and 0.05 % of full scale value
